Spring carpet cleaning off to a great start!
April 19th, 2012Rick and Devon have been hard at work with all the carpet cleaning going on in the Decatur/Sandy Springs area these first couple weeks of Spring. They have successfully removed coffee spots, pet spots, rust and the many other things our carpet collects during the cold months. With Spring cleaning in full affect there are many carpet cleaners advertising specials such as 8 rooms for 99.99 or 3 rooms and hall for 49.99. While these specials sound appealing, you must also think of the saying “You get what you pay for!” To make sure you actually “get what you paid for,” here are some helpful questions to ask when receiving a price.
- Will this special include vacuuming? Many companies do not vacuum which is fine if you are willing to do it yourself. However, vacuuming should be done as close as possible to prior carpet cleaning to insure that no items or loose materials dye the carpet once it comes in contact with water.
- Will this special be for the entire room? Many companies only come in and clean the traffic lanes in the room, leaving the rest of the carpet looking unfinished.
- Do you move any furniture in the special? Most companies will move your furniture but they will charge extra. Also make sure if they do move the furniture, that they move it back to its proper area with some sort of pads under the legs so that the furniture isn’t harmed in the cleaning.
